COUNTDOWN TO VIENNA - RUSSIA!

"We can ruuuuule the woooooorld...!!"  No, not a rather unsubtle comment on Putin's foreign policy, but you try singing the chorus to this one without humming the Take That song of that name along to it!

So Russia have decided that what the world needs right now is a peace anthem, and who are we to disagree?  They were rather loudly and controversially booed by the gays audience in the arena last year, and their response is to send a song that sounds like it should be raising money for charity, or performed by the winner of the current season of the X Factor!  Have a look and listen here:

Asta Bjornsdottir:  "The united world of Benetton with the voices of the black children missing!! Cliche and ..... achhh..... This is not hanging in my brain......"

Hasse Skoldebjer: "Very good voice and one of the best ballads this year. The lyrics make me want to vomit though. 7/10."

Annemieke Kelleter: "Apart from the lovey dovey peace lyrics I quite like this song. She has a good strong voice and the song has a nice melody and structure. Just like with Shine Iast year I noticed this song is a real grower."

Adam and Charlotte Lane: "She’s got a cracking voice. Don’t think the song itself is strong enough though. Sounds like a charity single. 4/10."
